Toothless Fairy

Yesterday when we were waiting to pick the girls up from school, Parker yells out, "I did it!!". I turned around to see her beaming with a bloody mouth and holding her first lost tooth. She was so proud that she pulled it herself. The other two girls had to have help with the first one, so she definitely has bragging rights. After Bailey lost her first tooth, my mom started calling her The Toothless Wonder, so I asked Parker what we should call her. She proudly answered, The Toothless Fairy". So here is our Toothless Fairy.

We have been couped up all day because of the weather outside. We DID run to the store for necessities. Cookie dough, and finger polish ARE necessities aren't they? Other than that we have been playing games, reading and watching movies. Oh we did rent movies I forgot. Another must have in cold weather is rented movies. (Thanks Anna for letting me steal the idea!!) So here are the girls (not room for Jude on this couch) engrossed in a movie. One day of icy weather and I am ready for spring.

  • I love those looks. Totally involved in the show. Isn't it so weird to see them without a tooth? Justin is loosing several right now, and won't brush those teeth very hard... ew. I keep trying to sneak in there and scrub them but he screams in pain!

  • Of COURSE cookie dough and nail polish are NECESSITIES! Hello? During the Depression women still found the cha-ching to get their hair done & buy lipstick & smokes.
Winter? What winter? We are in the 70's today. ;)

  • Shoot, I'd rather my daughter be happy about loosing teeth... right now she is unhappy about getting them! :)

I feel you with the weather. We live in OK just over the TX/OK border (you must live close) and its freezing here too! Have fun watching movies and drinking coco!

  • What a sweet comment on my post. It made my day. Thank you so much! You know as a mother, how you like people to listen about their own children! They never get too old for their moms to talk about them adoringly! Your family is beautiful and the pictures of the girls on the couch remind me of alot of sweet memories. PLEASE treasure these times right now. I know you must. They pass too too too fast. And yes, nail polish and cookie dough are just normal pantry staples aren't they? They are still here!

  • What a fun momma you are! How lucky your kids are. Cookie dough and nailpolish are a staples at your house. That just shows that you have fun ALL the time. Your dates with your girls and now Jude are something that I wish I had thought of with my 2 precious ones. Parker is so cute without her tooth. I am so proud of her. I am sure she will be called her "Sweet Tooth Fairy". Can you believe how fast she is growing. I am so glad that she is having this wonderful year with her momma. School will always be there. YOU are a wise momma.
